Rules
I. General
-You can have other discussions, but most of us are here for Roleplaying. You can talk about whatever you want in the cbox and General Board.
-This site is PG-13. The staff has the right to dictate what's PG-13 and what isn't.
-Please no fighting or drama in cbox. Drama is the bane of our existence. Please, keep it over PMs, or keep in mind that you probably will be banned from the site.
-Please do not disrespect the staff. They have all put many hours of work into this site and they were chosen for a reason. If you feel that you've been discriminated against, please PM the said staff member so you and the staff member can work out the issue.

II. Roleplaying
-We have a 100 word minimum in Role Playing. It just helps with people not putting in one-liners. Any post under that will be disregarded.
-Please, no chatspeak in RPing. No "lol's" or "roflmao's" or anything of that sort.
-After about a month of no posting, threads will be moved to the Museum.
-Don't post in outdated threads. You'll get no response, and it's really pretty worthless and the posts will be deleted.
-No god-moding. Nobody's invincible, so we can't expect our characters to be, and in fact any invincible character will not be accepted.
-No power-playing. You can't control somebody else's char.
-One character can be in multiple threads at one time.

III. Characters
-Post new characters in the Character Creation board.
-After acceptance by a staffie, the character will be moved to the appropriate kingdom.
- Don't RP with characters that haven't been accepted yet. We have our reasons for not accepting them.
-A staff member will reply to your character to either accept them or tell you some things that need to be fixed. Please, don't complain, just change what is asked and then your character will most likely be accepted.
-There's no amount of characters you can have, but each needs to be role played a fair amount.

IIIV. Chatbox
-All rules of the forums apply to the Cbox as well.
-There will be no harassing in categories including but not limited to age, gender, sexuality, race, religion.
-Any violation to the chat rules will result in a warning. Any repeated offences will lead to a ban.
-If there is any abuse of the cbox, the cbox will be taken down. Be sure to note that it will only be under extreme circumstances that this event will occur, but it would be wise to not toe the line or Glitter will hunt you down and torture you with Kesha. No kidding.

V. Plot
-This site is based on the ancient Roman empire. The only lands available are the ones that have been conquered so please don’t request we add on more as that would not be the truth of the past.
-Only male characters will be able to be chosen as gladiators.
-All gladiators will be chosen randomly.
-Having one of your characters is a privilege, so we expect you to try if you have one.
-If your character is selected you may step down, but this is only if you will not be active role playing with your character or you have another viable reason.
-Gladiators will fight first in their local arena's before getting to go to Rome.
-Rules will vary depending on the fight.
-The staff holds the right to add affects into the fights, but this will not be based on if we like you or not, it will be random.
-If your character is not a gladiator you still are able to role play. Even when games are going on daily life in the provinces does not stop.
-All fights will conclude within the amount of days allotted or the staff will choose who the victor is based on how the fight is going.
-Animals may also take parts in fights, they will be played by an impartial staff member.


VI. Avatars & Signatures
-Proboards limits avatar sizes to 100x100 pixels.
-If you wish to upload an avatar, make sure the file is a .jpg file.
-Signatures have a limit of 600x250 pixels.

VII. Mature Themes
-As this is a site on the Roman empire, violence is allowed. However, this site is also PG-13 so please limit the graphic violence to very little. If you don’t want your thirteen year old sibling or cousin reading it, do not post it.
-We are aware that there are several functions of a human body that is natural, but it is not necessary for you to roleplay it out. Either make the description vague or do not write it in the first place.
