[align=center]alright, so it's true. aliens exist. and they like have
these really cool powers too. and right now you are probably thinking
that we are completely crazy, but if you lived here in roswell then you
may be familiar with the weird and unexplained. you see, in 1947,
a spaceship supposedly crashed on in the desert. only thing is ,whatever
evidence they found has been hidden away. and by hidden away, we
mean living in plain sight. four of them. they look like us, they live like us.
and for awhile, it seemed that they were the only ones. well my friends,
it is a big and vast universe out there. fast forward to now, hey, pay attention,
it's 2010, and extraterrestrial life has become front page news. more and
more alien life has been discovered, which prompted the united states
government to pass the extraterrestrial registration act (or the etra), which
states that all life from "up there" must register in order to remain on our
lovely planet here. some of our little green friends didn't like that very much.
some refused, and others obliged. but the peaceful negotiations behind the
etra were false. it was a front to support alien experimentation. so there you
have it. tourism is as high as ever in roswell, new mexico. people hoping to
catch a glimpse of an alien walking through town. if only they knew how serious
this was. how dangerous they can be. or even how dangerous their own kind
can be.
i light my own fires now is set in present day, and is inspired by the wb's
roswell. while show canons are welcome, they are not mandatory.
